How we grade a card

Every card is graded by eye in daylight and photographed front and back under the same light. The photos show the exact card you get.

Near Mint
Looks fresh from the pack: clean surfaces, sharp corners, no whitening. Small factory print lines can occur.
Lightly Played
Light wear you have to look for: a touch of edge whitening or a few faint surface scratches. No creases.
Moderately Played
Wear you can see at arm's length: edge and corner whitening, scratches or scuffs. No major creases.
Heavily Played
Heavy wear: creases, bends, water marks or deep scratches. Priced for it.

Graded cards show the grader's label (PSA, BRG) in place of our condition; the cert number is on the slab and in the details.
